TM - Hi this is Amelia and Elizabeth from Twinmusix and we are here with Terry from Alien Ant Farm thank you for having this interview with us today we appreciate it.

TY - Thank You.

TM - What can fans expect from your Australian tour?

TY - We will try and put on the best show that you can expect. We have not been there in a while and we know how important Anthology was to some of our fans. We will play a set with some Anthology songs and some of our new songs and some of our old songs. We are just excited to get down there and play songs for people who grew up on Anthology.

TM - Are there any tourist attractions you want to see in Australia?

TY - I could name about 5 or 10 things that I would like to do in Australia, I just know the tourist stuff is going to be very fast paced because we are in a different city almost every day for 5 shows. Hopefully, we will have enough time to squeeze a few things in and hopefully, I get to hold at least one koala.

TM - What's your favourite memory with your fans the last time you came to Australia?

TY - Last time we were there was for a big day out back in the day and all these shows are cool and good. I remember Sydney being really off the hook and a crazy show.

TM - What was your writing and recording process for your newest album Mantras that came out last year?

TY - Right before COVID we wrote some of those songs and there is a cover of the song "Everything She Wants" which was written and produced by George Michael and there was a single by Wham and three other songs, That just sat there because the pandemic hit. We didn't do a ton as a band at that time because we were sitting at home. I was sitting at home writing and we were all doing our own thing, getting through like everybody. I had piled up a bunch of music that I had worked on and after the pandemic, we just dove into it and put more songs together. It was cool to come back together and it shows in the music.

TM - Are you working on any new music?

TY - We are working on a couple of new projects but not a new album yet. We are working on some licencing things and there might be a cover in the near future for us.

TM - If you could have any band play one of your songs, what band would it be, what song would it be and would it be in your style or their style?

TY - I want to hear Thy Art Is Murder cover Movies in their style.

TM - Who was the first band or Artist you saw live, can you tell us a story?

TY - I saw the house band at Disneyland play but I don't count that because it's Disneyland. After that, my dad took me to see Judas Priest on the Defenders of the Faith tour and their stage set up was crazy. I was a kid and it was the first show I ever went to and it was pretty stunning. There was a giant metal cat and Rob Halford drove a Harley Davidson on stage.

TM - That is cool, I love Judas Priest, what an amazing first band to see live.

TM - Is there anything else you want to say to your fans?

TY - we can't wait to come to Australia it has been too long. We cannot wait to get down there and do this. We are excited and nervous because it has been so long and it is going to be fun to reconnect.
