CALIGULA'S HORSE REVIEW

Caligula's Horse and The Glass Ocean played at The Factory Theater on Friday night and we got to be entertained by a spectacular show.

The Glass Ocean kicked off the night with an acoustic set. The first song of the night was more somber and the mood lifted with some more upbeat tunes as the set progressed. The Glass Ocean put on a great set and warmed up the crowd for the next act.

Next up was the band everyone had been waiting for, Caligula's Horse. As the band walked on stage the crowd cheered with excitement and everyone knew the setlist they were going to see. caligula's horse performed two of their albums. We got to listen to the albums "Bloom" and "The Tide, the Thief & River's End".

Jim interacted with their fans straight away and told everyone he had printed out the setlist this time because he forgot the order of the songs at the Brisbane shows. Jim asked everyone what the first song was. Everyone laughed and responded with "Bloom". Caligula's Horse showcased their knack for mesmerizing rhythms and riffs, enchanting melodies with amazing vocals and dynamic shifts. We got to watch Caligula's horse perform songs including Dragonfly, Undergrowth, Water's Edge, Dark Hair Down and All is Quiet by the Wall.
