DETHKLOK REVIEW
Dethklok is a fictional melodic death metal band from the Adult Swim animated television series "Metalocalypse", and Brendon Small and Tommy Blacha created it. In the show, they are portrayed as a popular and powerful band with a massive global influence. Last night at the Roundhouse, Brendon Small brought Dethklok to life, and they performed their music and the show with satire and parodies and brought the death metal culture to life, with extreme and hilarious effects. The doors flung open, and the fans ran in and secured their spots against the barrier.
Freedom of Fear was up first, and they kicked off their set with "Immortal, Primordius and Nebula" and the super high energy songs with intense Drums and blazing tempos bounced off the walls. The set continued with "Carpathia and Entities", and the electrifying Guitar, heavy Bass lines and phenomenal Vocals elevated the crowd, and everyone was jumping along. Freedom of Fear finished off their set with "Zenith and Purgatorium", and the explosive chorus made the crowd rock out in true metal style and pumped us up for the metal gods Dethklok.

Dethklok hit the stage like a bolt of lightning as the lights dimmed, and the band played in darkness as the screen behind them played animations from Metalocalypse. The excitement spread through the room as Dethklok kicked off their set with "Deththeme, Briefcase Full of Guts, Birthday Dethday and Mutilation on a Saturday Night" and the soaring guitar, crushing bass, edgy drums and blazing tempos made you excited for more.
The set continued with "Bloodlines, Awaken and The Gears" and the pumping atmosphere demanded everyones metal horns high up in the air and pushed the fans over the edge and into overdrive. Detklok continued with "Castratikron, Hatredcopter and Dethsupport", and the fans jumped around and the wildly loud and brutal Voacls filled our ears with pure bliss.

The circle pit opened up and was in full force as the band played "Duncan Hills Coffee Jingle, Aortic Desecration and I Ejaculate Fire" and the energy fueled performance created a masterful and fiery atmosphere that proved this band could cause Round House domination. As the set continued to play "The Duel, Murmaider and Thunderhorse" and the technical heavy, melodic death skills shined through with satirical and over-the-top lyrics, energetic roughness of bass and hooky riffs, and it put an injection of metal into our veins.
