 I dressed up as Clockwork Orange, Alice really liked my outfit and was amused by my performance, so he invited us to play his annual charity event

We sometimes write while were on tour but it's not the best place to write, creative ideas come at random times so when I get a idea I save it into my phone.

The name was a struggle for us, but the “Buried Kings” was a lyric in a Wovenwar song “Father/Son” and we really felt it suited what we were looking for. 

 I went to Japan for a holiday and I couldn't relax, my trip ended up being a month-long photography excursion and I took the photo in Japan.

We write on the road a lot, we will on a song or idea out and write as much as possible, we also record on our phones and computers.

Yellow is the theme for our album cover, so we used the reaper and we thought it would be cool to put a raincoat on him.

We were all having a good time on the tour bus, we were all having fun and chilling out after one of our shows. We decided to open the door on the bus and there was a girl pooping outside of it onto the floor.

I never stop writing, I write year round, I write on the road, I write at home, I write on napkins in the restaurants.

I've always written my own music. At around 13, I overheard my dad strumming a few chords in the living room; words formed in my head so I quickly wrote them down- almost like I was trying to keep up with my own mind.

I'm not a religious man at all, I don't believe in anything, but I do like the stories, and I can understand 1000 years ago that's people believed in stories like that, bit I don't enjoy reading about the stories.

Our first show with Motorhead in 1986. We were in our dressing room and there was knocking at the door, I open the door and Lemmy was standing there...

My first performance with a guitar in front of people was frightening! I knew I had practiced my instrument well enough to execute my parts, but that added element of pressure

We played a Halloween night with Alice Cooper back in 2005, before Alice Cooper played his last song he said I want to bring out Wednesday 13th and brought us all out on stage.

I started off in ballet when I was six but I'd said that earlier in this interview. I owe a lot to music that accompanies and tells stories whether its ballet, opera or film

We got Brian Montuori who is an artist to listen to some of our songs being recorded at the studio and he designed it.

ur new album is a massive step forward. I think one year on from our debut album we have galvanised ourselves as a band, and formed and identity as musicians.

I've been a chief songwriter for the band for some time, I've written about 80% of the music , Mike is the other Co writer, our singer Todd writes most of the lyrics, it is a collaboration, everyone brings their ideas to the table.

Without a doubt it would have to be Unify Music Gathering in Tarwin Lower. Everything about that music festival is everything we love about music festivals. Good vibes, good people, incredible bands. What more could you want! 

It was easier to give it out with my album, then get it's published, I have released 5 books.

They can expect a different Vibe for sure! We really spent a lot of time tuning in the yin and yang of our sound, we have a real melodic sound but we really made sure the evil was represented this time around.

 We threw around a lot of stupid names for a while and I'll guitarist Nano came up with the name black rheno.

We have played a few strange ones over the years but i think we played in a college field once to practically no one.We all got bacon rolls though so i would say that we came out on top.

Our last album launch we did Cherry Bar Melbourne and our fans we're singing and dancing along.

At some point in the recording process it was pretty obvious which songs would be singles.

 We use Fender guitars and bass guitars when we record. When we play live we use a mix of insturments.

First the drum beat was written, then the guitar and then the vocals were added on top, we all wrote and recorded separately.

That’s a tough one, I guess Glastonbury would be a good answer, but there’s plenty of great festivals out there. If we’re talking Australia the I think Unify gathering would be a good time, we would be comfortable there!

 Touring with the Rolling Stones as pretty big originally I did 8 shows with those guys, I went home a week later I got another call saying we want you to come out and do four more shows.

 We had spent three albums working with labels, we wanted to experiment with make an album and putting it out ourselves, without interruption from a third party.

 Our label found this Hungarian guy that did the video clip for us, he came up with the idea and we had a little bit of input we got to decide which song we used for the video, he has also done video clips for other metal bands.
