Twinmusix got to speak to Jean from Letlive about their upcoming tour and more.

TM - Hi, this is Amelia and Elizabeth from Twinmusix and we are here with Jean From Letlive, thank you for having this interview with us today we appreciate it.

JN - Thank you.
​
TM - You are coming to Australia, what can fans expect?
​
JN - We are grateful to come to Australia and we are grateful to our fans who have bought tickets and are coming out. We are trying to prepare a great show and experience for everyone. We are excited to come and we always have a great time in Australia and we also got to go to Australia with the Deftones and that was an amazing experience.

TM - What can fans expect from your setlist?
​
JN - We are still working on a setlist, we have a lot of songs and have a lot of albums but we will have a great setlist.
​
TM - What's your favourite thing to do in Australia?
​
JN - The first time we went to Australia we played Soundwave and we had a great time. We got to hang out with a lot of different people and we played some amazing shows and we also got to explore Australia, we had a good time.
​
TM - What's your favourite song to play live?
​
JN - We the Pros of Con or Muther, it's hard to pick your favourite.
​
TM - What is your favourite memory with your fans in Australia?
​​
JN - Hanging out with the fans and chatting with them before and after our show. It is great to meet people when you are coming from Los Angeles and it's great when they are like minded and you can have a great experience.
​
TM - What's your favourite band you have seen live and can you tell us a story?
​
JN - Deftones is one of them, I have been a fan since I was a teenager and it has been great to get to know these guys and tour with them. I was hanging out with Abe the drummer and he got a tattoo before he went on stage and that was pretty cool.
​
TM - Who was the first band or Artist you saw live and can you tell us a story?
​
JN - Sum 41, I was a huge fan in my teenage years, and that was my first official concert that was my first time going to a real rock show.
​
TM - Did they influence you to play live?
​
JN - Yeah they did, when I discovered Fat Lip the music video was amazing, the guitar playing and the energy in the video were epic and it was fun to listen to them. Then I got into Thrice and Children of Bodom and I was all over the place with what I listened to. Then I listened to NOFX and Minor Fret and the Punk Rock Element influenced me in my teens.

TM - If you could have any band play one of your songs what band would it be, what song would it be and would it be in your style or their style?
​
JN - Jimmy Hendrix playing, "Renegade 86’". I have a funny story, I played a festival with the Architects a long time ago and they ended up playing the song "Renegade 86’" and that was cool and we got to tour with them as well.
​
TM - Is there anything else you want to say to your fans?
​
JN - Thank You to everyone who has bought a ticket and is coming out to see us, whether it is at a show in Australia or at a festival. We are excited to play these shows and see everyone and have a good time and I think that's the most important thing.
