TM - What can fans expect from your new album Greater Than?
GD - A really heavy record
TM - What was the writing and recording process for Greater Than?
GD - We all write music and we all keep on working on it from there until we come up with something that we like. The recording process was we recorded the drums and the guitars and then we recorded in my vocals. After we had finished it we tweaked it to see what else we would like on it.
TM - What instruments do you use on stage compared to in the studio?
GD - Ryan uses Gibson guitars and Marshall Amplifiers, and about 40000 pedal boards that take up half the stage Harry uses Zildjian cymbals and i use Shure microphones
TM - You worked with Jim Pinder on your new album what was it like working with him?
GD - It is a pleasure working with him, he really is the 6th member of the band. He asks us all the right questions and helps develop us all as artists. He is the perfect guy for our band and I look forward to working with him in the future.
TM - You worked with Matt from Trivium on your new song Rain how did that effect your new song?
GD - We were working on the song together and would like what should we call this song and it was raining outside so we called it Rain. This was before Matt was ever involved, it was one of the most metal trucks on our record with heavy riffs and it was fast. Then we started putting in electronic sounds and decided to put in this hip hop section and asked him to help finish the song.
TM - If you could have any band play one of your songs which song would it be which band and in your style or theirs?
GD - Vengaboys doing one of our songs in their style.
TM - You recently played reading and Leeds festival what was your favourite memory?
GD - Papa Roach we're also playing and stayed to what some of our set from the side of the stage. We got to speak to them afterwards it was pretty cool.
TM- That's awesome!! I love their music it's so good! It's so cool that you got to meet them.
TM - What can fans expect from your upcoming European tour with Bullet for My Valentine?
GD - We will play a live energetic set with lots of our new and old music.
TM - Could you tell us something crazy that happened while you were touring?
GD - When we did our last European tour we started at Download Festival and someone found this dildo though the size of my forearm. It somehow ended up in our van and we were driving from Hungary to Bavaria in Germany. We got pulled up at the border and got asked if we have any drugs in the van and get told if we do, give them up now and nothing will happen to us.
We told them there was no drugs in the van so they brought us into a room. They Lined us all up and faced us towards the wall and get a brisk Shakedown. While this was happening four massive dudes got into our van and start searching us. One of the Guards comes out with gloves on and he was holding the Dildo in his hand that was the size of your forearm. It was pretty funny to see him holding it.
TM- hahaha ah that has to be one of the best tour stories i have ever heard. That is pretty funny. So how did it end up in your van?
GD- i honestly have no idea
TM - Is there Anything else you want to announce to your fans?
