SPARTA REVIEW
Last night we got to bring in our weekend by watching two epic bands, Sparta and Seaside. They played at the Metro Theatre in Sydney and it was a fun crowd filled with energy and enthusiasm.
The first to hit the stage was Seaside from Byron Bay. As Seaside kicked off their set with "Sick, Were On Fire and Dopamine", Darcy's Amazing lead vocals and rocking harmonies filled the venue with a dream pop vibe. As Seaside continued with "Anywhere, See Ya and Light It Up", the melodic and crashing guitar riffs and rock beat had the crowd moving. Seaside finished off their set with "Housewife and Deceptacon" and they warmed everyone up for the next set.
As the anticipation rised in the room everyone moved to the barrier and they were ready to rock out. Sparta hit the stage and the crowd was excited to see one of their favourite bands play live. As Sparta kicked off their set with "Cut Your Ribbon, Air and Mye", the powerful vocals filled the room and had everyone singing and dancing along to the music at full force.
Next up were hits including "Light Burns Clear, Glasshouse Tarot, Echodyne Harmonic and Assemble the Empire" and the driving guitar riffs and Blazing tempos brought an astounding amount of passion. The hard hitting drumming and crushing bass riffs showed us that "Sparta" knows how to put on an energy fueled performance.
Sparta finished off their set with "Empty Houses, Miracle and Atlas" and the crowd was jumping and singing along to the anthems for the whole set. Everyone got to the party and let off steam with these infectious grooves and it was a great night.
